Kessler-Haak Vineyard and Wines is located in the cooler northwestern part of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. The winery is known for its commitment to organic farming and minimalistic winemaking.
Founded by Dan Kessler and Ellen Haak-Kessler in 2005, the vineyard spans 30 acres. It benefits from the unique climate of morning fog and cool Pacific breezes, which help ripen the grapes gently.
This special environment produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with crisp acidity and a bit of extra spice. Visitors can enjoy tastings at their Lompoc Wine Center tasting room, take vineyard tours, and attend events like 'Jazz in the Vines'.
