Honeymoon Trail Winery is located on the Historic Honeymoon Trail and the Niagara Escarpment, just minutes from Niagara Falls and Lake Ontario.
It was established in 2005 by Garry and Lori Hoover. The building was originally constructed in 1970 as Niagara Winery before being converted into a gun stock store in the 1990s. The Hoovers revitalized the space and turned it into a winery, focusing on producing quality wines made from the freshest local New York State ingredients.
The winery's mission is to create a connection between the land and the glass, crafting wines that are so enjoyable, it’s hard not to finish the entire bottle. Visitors are welcomed into a peaceful, romantic atmosphere, with a large wood-burning fireplace in the tasting room adding to the cozy vibe.
There’s also a gift shop that offers wine-related gifts and accessories, as well as local artisanal cheeses and gourmet chocolates, all perfect for pairing with the wines. Honeymoon Trail Winery is open year-round, inviting guests to experience its offerings in every season.
