Hawk & Horse Vineyards

Biodynamic farming in a scenic ranch setting

Best known for: Biodynamic and organic wine production

Located in the picturesque Lake County Red Hills AVA, Hawk and Horse Vineyards is known for its commitment to biodynamic and organic farming practices.

The vineyard spans 18 acres at elevations between 1,800 to 2,200 feet. It benefits from red rocky volcanic soils and a microclimate that's perfect for growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux varietals.

Founded by David Boies, the winery is now operated by Mitch and Tracey Hawkins. They focus on sustainability and producing wines that truly showcase the region's unique terroir.

Visitors to the winery can experience the rustic elegance of the ranch and have conversations about their sustainable practices and history.
