Gruet Winery was founded by Gilbert Gruet in 1984. Its roots are in the Champagne region of France.
The Gruet family discovered that New Mexico offers ideal conditions for viticulture, which led to the establishment of the winery in the United States.
The winery is best known for its sparkling wines, which are crafted using the traditional Méthode Champenoise. Some of their well-known offerings include their Brut, Blanc de Noirs, and the innovative Sauvage line.
Gruet Winery places a strong emphasis on quality and tradition. This dedication has earned the winery numerous awards and recognitions, including a spot on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of the World.
