Founded in 1981 by Dennis and Judy Groth, Groth Vineyards & Winery started with a dream to produce top-quality Cabernet Sauvignon in the Oakville region of Napa Valley.
The Groths bought their first vineyard, a 121-acre property, after being inspired by the area's potential for growing high-quality grapes. Their dedication to excellence paid off with their first vintage in 1982, which received quite a bit of praise.
Over the years, the winery has grown and changed. The second generation, led by Suzanne Groth, has carried on the family legacy while also adopting modern winemaking techniques.
Today, Groth Vineyards & Winery is known for its elegant wines and a strong commitment to sustainable practices.
