Green Bird Organic Cellars, owned by Tim and Betsy, is a winery and cidery situated on a 15-acre farm in Northport, Michigan.
The couple transitioned to organic, regenerative farming in 2015, bringing their passion for sustainable agriculture from New Orleans to the picturesque Leelanau Peninsula.
The winery is known for its estate-grown wines and handcrafted ciders, made from grapes and apples cultivated on-site.
Visitors can enjoy a unique farm-to-glass experience, with options for wine tastings and farm tours that highlight their regenerative farming methods.
The tasting room is open to the public. While reservations are not required, groups larger than six are encouraged to call ahead.
The winery also offers a selection of organic vegetables and pastured eggs, further emphasizing their commitment to holistic farming practices.
