Pleasant Valley Wine Company, established in 1860, is the oldest winery in the Finger Lakes region. Located near Hammondsport, New York, it proudly holds the title of U.S. Bonded Winery No. 1.
The winery features eight historic stone buildings that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Known for producing estate-grown wines of the highest caliber, Pleasant Valley reflects the unique terroir of its property.
The winery has a rich history, including notable achievements such as winning a gold medal for its Great Western Champagne in Vienna in 1873. Today, it operates a large facility with significant production capacity and offers guided tours and tastings, making it a staple in the local wine community.
