The Foppoli family has been making boutique wines in California for nearly 100 years, with roots in Italy that date back centuries.
The American winemaking tradition began five generations ago when Giuseppe Foppoli created a high-end private label in a small production facility in San Francisco's North Beach.
This tradition of exclusivity has been maintained by his great-grandson, Dominic Foppoli, who, along with his father Richard, continues to produce small lots of wine for private use and direct sales.
In 2002, the family expanded their vineyards in the Russian River Valley, leading to the first public release of their wines in 2006.
Foppoli wines are characterized by their handcrafted quality and minimal intervention, reflecting the family's commitment to winemaking excellence.
