Falling Springs Vineyard
Scenic vineyard with handcrafted hybrid wines in a tranquil setting
Best known for: Cold-hardy hybrid wines
Falling Springs Vineyard is located in the peaceful area of Renick, West Virginia. It offers visitors a chance to enjoy wine tasting surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.
The vineyard was established in 2006, and they started producing their first wines in 2011. In 2013, Falling Springs Vineyard became a licensed West Virginia Farm Winery.
The winery focuses on making aromatic, medium-bodied wines that are mostly dry but have a touch of fruitiness. They grow four types of grape hybrids: Frontenac Red, Frontenac Gris, Maréchal Foch, and Léon Millet, which are well-suited to the local climate.
All wines are handcrafted on-site in small batches to ensure quality and uniqueness. Visitors can taste the wines and explore what the vineyard has to offer, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists alike.
