Dulzura Vineyard & Winery

Historic ranch with original stone cellar

Best known for: Historic ranch with award-winning wines

Established in 1885 by Frank J. Clark and his wife Lila, the Clark Ranch has a rich history intertwined with the development of the Dulzura area.

Originally focused on agriculture, the ranch produced a variety of fruits and became known for its unique 'Clark's Pickleized Figs'.

After surviving the challenges of World War I and the Great Depression, the ranch remains in family ownership today.

The winery now operates from the original ranch site, where the historic 'Pickle House' serves as the tasting room and the original stone pantry has been transformed into a wine cellar.

Visitors can enjoy a taste of the past while savoring the winery's memorable wines, with plans to recreate the original fig confection soon.

Tasting Hours

Visit the tasting room this weekend or book a stay in the historic guest house.
