Diamond Creek Vineyards

Terroir-focused estate with distinctive mountain vineyard character

Best known for: Single-Vineyard, terroir-driven Cabernet Sauvignons

Founded in 1968 by Al and Boots Brounstein, Diamond Creek Vineyards is a pioneer in the Napa Valley wine industry. It is recognized for producing some of California's most revered Single-Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons.

The estate is located on Diamond Mountain and is dedicated to expressing the unique terroirs of its four distinct parcels: Volcanic Hill, Gravelly Meadow, Red Rock Terrace, and Lake. Each vineyard's microclimate and soil composition contribute to the character of the wines.

In 2020, the winery was acquired by the Rouzaud family of Maison Louis Roederer. This change in ownership has helped ensure the continuation of its legacy, with a strong commitment to quality and respect for the land.

Under the stewardship of President Nicole Carter and Winemaker Graham Wehmeier, Diamond Creek continues to thrive, focusing on site-driven, estate-grown wines that reflect the purity of their origins.
