Copper Belt Wines
High-altitude vineyard setting with personalized tasting experiences
Best known for: Handcrafted wines from high elevation vineyards
Copper Belt Wines, established by the Cook family, is a family-owned winery situated in Baker City, Oregon.
The winery's roots trace back to Travis Cook, who, inspired by a calling at the age of 12, began his journey into winemaking. After planting estate vineyards on the Cook Ranch in 2004 and graduating from Oregon State University in 2007, Travis honed his skills in the North Willamette Valley before returning to Baker County to focus on crafting wines for Copper Belt.
The winery is supported by a dedicated team, including Travis's father, Michael Cook, who manages vineyard operations, and his wife, Krista Cook, who oversees office management and tasting room operations.
Copper Belt Wines is committed to providing a unique tasting experience, complemented by local artisan cheeses from The Cheese Fairy. This makes it a beloved destination for wine enthusiasts.
