Charis Winery, Inc. is recognized as Allegany County's first winery. It is located at 16 Howard Street in the Canal Place Shops of downtown Cumberland, Maryland.

The winery produces a diverse range of wines, including grape varieties such as Chancellor, Nebbiolo, and Pinot Noir. They also make white wines like Pinot Grigio and Vidal Blanc. Additionally, they offer fruit wines made from flavors like Peach, Cranberry, Blueberry, and Strawberry.
