Carolina Heritage Vineyard and Winery

Organic vineyard with scenic Yadkin Valley views

Best known for: First certified organic vineyard in North Carolina

Carolina Heritage Vineyards Winery & Brewery is a veteran and family-owned business. It is recognized as the first and only certified organic vineyard in North Carolina.

Nestled in the picturesque Yadkin Valley, the vineyard was established in 2015 by Clyde and Patricia Coldwell. They produce a variety of grape varietals, including Chambourcin, Norton, Traminette, Frontenac, and muscadines.

In 2021, Patrick and Wendi McNabb took over the winery, bringing a strong commitment to eco-conscious winemaking and brewing. They utilize sustainable packaging options, including innovative paper wine bottles made from recycled materials.

The winery offers a range of experiences, such as wine tasting flights, blending parties, and private events. All of this takes place against the backdrop of a 23-acre organic vineyard with stunning views.

Additionally, Carolina Heritage Vineyards is dedicated to sustainability. They use solar panels to power a significant portion of their operations and support local charities with each bottle sold.
