Cardwell Hill Cellars, located in Philomath, Oregon, is a celebrated winery known for its focus on sustainable practices and high-quality wines.
Founded in 2000 by Dan and Nancy Chapel, the winery sits in the scenic Willamette Valley, benefiting from volcanic basalt soil and plenty of rainfall.
The vineyard covers 57 acres and mainly grows Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. The winery uses dry farming techniques to naturally strengthen the vines.
Cardwell Hill Cellars is certified by Salmon Safe and LIVE, which highlights their commitment to environmentally friendly practices and minimizing their ecological impact.
Visitors are welcome to explore the tasting room, where they can sample award-winning wines that showcase the region’s unique terroir.
