Capture Wines

Captûre Wines, located in Santa Rosa, California, is known for its high-quality wines made from vineyards in the rugged and remote regions of the Mayacamas Mountains.

Since 2015, winemaker Sam Teakle has been dedicated to crafting wines from the Pine Mountain-Cloverdale Peak, Alexander Valley, and Sonoma County appellations. These areas are known for their wild landscapes, where nature often dominates over human development.

The Pine Mountain estate vineyard sits at about 3,000 feet above sea level. Its elevation provides a unique terroir that influences the intense character of the wines produced there.

Captûre Wines primarily focuses on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc. The winery aims to explore the potential of these untamed lands, which results in wines with noticeable depth and elegance.
