Calluna Vineyards

Chalk Hill estate with hillside vineyard views

Best known for: Bordeaux-style blends from Chalk Hill

Calluna Vineyards was established in 2005 and is located in the Chalk Hill appellation of Sonoma County.

The winery was founded by David Jeffrey, who is known for its Bordeaux-style blends, including Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, along with Malbek and Petit Verdot.

Drawing inspiration from his apprenticeship in Saint Emilion, France, David crafts wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.

The vineyard spans 17 acres and benefits from an ideal elevation, which allows for optimal ripening conditions.

Each vintage, Calluna produces six distinct wines that showcase the terroir of the region and focus on balance, acidity, and moderate alcohol levels.

The winery's commitment to quality and craftsmanship has earned recognition among wine enthusiasts.
