Cactus Star Vineyard, located at Scaredy Cat Ranch in Ramona, California, is a woman-owned boutique winery that has been crafting premium wines since its establishment in 2001.
The vineyard spans one acre and was initially planted with Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon, later adding Malbec and Petit Verdot. With an annual production of only 150 to 200 cases, Cactus Star Vineyard is one of the smallest wineries in Southern California.
The winery prides itself on using estate-grown grapes and occasionally local Ramona Valley grapes, producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Ramona Valley AVA.
Visitors can enjoy tastings on select weekends, providing a unique opportunity to experience the rich flavors of the region.

Open for tastings every 2nd and 4th weekend of the month from 1 pm to 4 pm, weather permitting.
