Blacksmith Cellars
Craftsmanship-driven winery with innovative blends and historic roots
Best known for: Artisanal white and red wines
Founded in 2003 by winemaker Matt Smith, Blacksmith Cellars is celebrated for its artistry and craftsmanship in winemaking.
The winery began with the release of its 2001 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, which highlighted the independent spirit of the brand.
With a commitment to quality, Blacksmith Cellars has expanded its offerings to include not only Cabernet Sauvignon and Chenin Blanc but also classic varietals like Syrah and Chardonnay, alongside unique grapes such as Torrontes and Verdelho.
Their proprietary blends, 'Adamantine' and 'Hephaestus,' further showcase their innovative approach.
Visitors can enjoy these wines at the Suisun Valley Wine Cooperative Tasting Room, open Thursday through Sunday from 12 to 5 PM.
