Backyard Vine & Wine is a small, family-owned vineyard and winery located in Maryville, Missouri.
It began as a retirement project by Carl Christensen, who transformed the land from a tangled mess into a serene vineyard with approximately five acres of grapevines.
The first vines were planted in 2008, and the winery now boasts seven varieties totaling around 2,600 plants, with plans to expand further.
The winery offers private tours and hosts various public events, making it a vibrant part of the local community.
