Welcome to this week’s list of U.S. wineries experiencing the most love (or at least page views) from AWG wine lovers. A wonderful review and lot of love from winery fans on Facebook, lands Illinois’ Danenberger Family Vineyards in the number one spot. If you’ve never considered adding wine tasting to your list of things to do while in Illinois, you should!
With the end of Oregon Wine Month and warmer, dryer weather, wine tasting season has arrived in Oregon. At least one Oregon winery typically finds itself in the top ten, but this week, a record four Oregon wineries make it onto the list.
Arizona’s ever-popular Caduceus Cellars comes in at #4, Villa Toscano from California’s Shenandoah Valley comes in at #6, and representing the East Coast are Virginia’s Barboursville Vineyards and Maryland’s Black Ankle Vineyard. All seven Napa free tasting wineries make the list again and are combined into the #2 position.
